Adding Java Applications

Open PST, connect and install your phone.

Open p2ktools:

  • Go to "Other Features"
  • Click on "Java
  • Click the "Get" button
  • Check the "Java App Loader" box
  • Click the "Set" button
  • Restart the phone

Unplug the USB cable from the computer. On your phone, in the "Settings" menu, there should be a "Java Settings" option. Open this submenu and you should see "Java App Loader". Select this option, then connect it to the computer when prompted. From the Control Panel on your computer, open "Phone and Modem Options" and look at what COM port the "Motorola USB Modem" is.

Open JADMaker and drag the .JAR into the body of the window. This will make a .JAD from the .JAR file.

A great place to get free or trial Java games and applications is GetJar.com

Open MiDway

  • Select the COM port from the control panel
  • go to "Open JAD"
  • open the .JAD file for the game you are opening
  • Go to "Send JAD"
  • Accept the download on your phone

New application should be installed.
