Tagscanner is one of the best tools for quickly modifying multiple filenames and tag information. You can rename the files according to the information saved in the ID3 tags, or vice versa. If you would like to rearange the naming structure of your files, you can rename your entire folder at once from the information in the tags.
If your files were never named, you can name them easily. As long as all of the songs from the album are there, and in the correct order, Tagscanner can retag them and rename them one folder at a time.
If you don't like the tags that your ripper gave them, you can change them with this program. I personally have some CD sets that each cd had a different naming structure. When I tried to transfer the files to my MP3 player, each cd was under a different album or artist because of differences in the tags. You can easily fix these problems by retagging them with the "Tag Processor" option. Select "Get album info from FreeDB" and select the files from the album. Hit the "Get Info" button and Tagscanner will compare your files to the database and show you the possible matches.
